Laika has decided to equip all the vehicles in its range with a rolling code alarm, specifically designed and manufactured by Meta System to guarantee perfect integration with Laika motor homes.
The alarm is supplied with two, rolling code remote controls, preventing any attempts to copy or identify the sequence of the code itself. These operate the central locking of the doors with flashing of the direction indicators, offering complete protection of the doors and storage boxes and ultrasonic protection of the driving area in the vehicle's interior. When an alarm is triggered, it is signalled by the combination of the high power siren and the flashing of the direction indicators.

Resource Accessory Modules

A red LED flashes to notify the driver that the alarm is armed and informs him what type of alarm was triggered in his absence. The alarm can be switched off using its mechanical key if any work has to be done on the vehicle. The alarm is water resistant according to the relevant directives and has been tested to IP55.

A range of accessories has also been designed to offer enhanced protection and comfort: a product that automatically closes the electric windows, a lift and tilt sensor and wireless modules protecting the windows and roof lights inside the motor home's living area. All of these accessories are readily connected up to the alarm originally fitted onto the vehicle.

And there is even more to Laika's Security Range: a simple yet effective, interactive GSM system that sends a message to your mobile phone to warn you of any attempted break-ins, a hands free system letting you use your phone safely, complete with universal Bluetooth technology for any mobile phone supporting this technology, and a parking sensor contributing to the active safety of the vehicle during manoeuvres.
